After 15 years of being one of the most successful international child placing
agencies with Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Republic of Georgia and Moldova, Frank Adoption Center, NC is beginning a new decade with Domestic Adoptions.
Frank Adoption Center, NC in partnership with Adoption Priorities, Inc., is proud to
offer families another option in completing their forever family. We have worked
cooperatively with Adoption Priorities, Inc. for the past several years in the
completion of many adoptions and we are excited to be launching this new program
with them. Adoption Priorities, Inc. is based in San Antonio, Texas and they have a
proven record of successfully placing domestic newborns with several families
around the United States.
We realize that prospective adoptive parent (s) have many options when it comes to completing their family and we hope that they will consider what Frank Adoption Center, NC has to offer them. With our private domestic infant program, the birth mother will be identified by Adoption Priorities, Inc. and they will facilitate birth parent counseling and the termination of parental rights. Frank Adoption Center, NC will work with the North Carolina based family in preparing them for the domestic placement.
When considering domestic adoptions, the prospective adoptive parent(s) need to consider the type of communicative relationship they are open to having with the birth family: open, semi-open or closed. We can help you with processing which option would be best for your family. Most birth families are looking for some type of contact with the adoptive family, even if it is just pictures and letters exchanged every few months.
Here are some brief definitions of the three types of communication:
Open Adoptions - both the adoptive parents and the birth parents would know the other’s identities;
Semi-Open Adoptions - the birth parents and the adoptive parents would be open to sharing some basic information about each party, but the information would be limited; and
Closed Adoptions - the birth parents and adoptive parents would not have any information regarding the other's party.
